How Stimarium handles website visit measurement and contact at launch.
Website analytics
On stimarium.com, Stimarium uses Metricool to measure visits and pages viewed in aggregate. Your browser requests its tracker from tracker.metricool.com, which contacts Metricool when a page is viewed. Metricool says this website tracker does not set cookies, store information on your device, or assign a unique visitor identifier. Metricool says it uses your IP address during the connection to determine country, without storing that address. The page viewed is included in the visit measurement.
Where it runs
The tracker is limited to stimarium.com. Local development and Vercel Preview sites do not load it. If you block the tracker, the site still works.
Internal traffic
Stimarium uses a designated internal traffic marker for founder and automated quality-assurance visits. The marker stores one local setting in that browser and prevents Metricool from loading; the marker value is not sent to Metricool. It remains until that browser opens the reset link or its site data is cleared.
Contact
Stimarium has no site contact form or first-party email signup at launch. Contact through the linked public social channels is subject to those services’ own privacy practices.
