Sources stay visible
Primary research and useful counterpoints are linked in the Evidence Shelf. When a claim depends on a measurement dispute, methodological limit, or competing interpretation, that tension belongs in the piece.
Connections have to earn themselves
Cross-domain patterns earn their place through a shared mechanism, constraint, tradeoff, or structure that survives scrutiny.
AI stays under editorial judgment
AI may help discover, compare, synthesize, or transform material. Published claims still need visible evidence and editorial judgment. Taste and restraint govern what gets published.
Corrections are part of the work
If stronger evidence changes the interpretation, the Dossier should change with it. Being less certain than the story is often the more interesting result.
